So welcome to my blog. Hopefully whatever i say won't annoy you, but if it does well i don't care. These are my opinions and ideas and if you don't agree then don't read any further.
Now that the akward intros are complete, you should probably know a bit about me. Well I was raised listening to excellent music. 80's hair bands, metal, kiss, classic rock. And the direction music is going in saddens me to no end. I can understand that people have different tastes. But come on "Punk-Pop" the hell ass is that? Some code name for whiny music with a bunch of clones sponsored by hot topic crying into the microphones. Most of the current music today just lacks the finesse that bands like Rush and Kiss worked so hard to accomplish. These guys play five chords and call it a song.
But I have found the savior of music. Rockers of the world, here my call. The future of the music industry is in your hands. Turn off the MTV, stop watching VH1 and listening to the same top ten songs on the radio. Back away from the media of yester-year and turn towards the underground. There are hundreds of bands out there. You only need to look. Go to your local CD shops and look around for less known bands. Search out the indie records. Find your self in the music and embrace it! Other wise we will be doomed to listening to bands like Good Charlotte and Simple Plan for then next 20 years.
