The Open Door

Well for those of you who don't know the new evanescence album, The Open Door, came out on October 3rd. Well I got it a few days later and I must admit t was a very different experience for me. I'm so accustomed to listening to bands with male lead singers that the high notes and such kinda of threw me off at first. But after a while, I got over that and really enjoyed the album. Of course the first hit off the album "Call Me When Your Sober" really is an excellent song. I really need to admit that I never really listened to Evanescence, so before I listened to the album, I borrowed the first one from a friend of mine. And it's equally as good. All of the songs on both albums really grab you, and I can understand why they worked for so long on the second album. The quality is excellent and I can't really find any fault with the music.
